This is a beautiful vintage reproduction ring.  The sterling silver filigree holds an ~20 carat natural purple amethyst gemstone.  The amethyst stone has perfect purple grape color and amazing clarity. The flawless high quality square-cut gemstone is 18mm square. The stone and setting rise about 1/2" off the finger. The inside of the band is marked 925 for sterling silver.
