C.1900. A large and heavy gold signet ring with the initial 'D'. Simple yet striking in its scale and design. The ring is 14k yellow gold, and weighs 21.85 grams. There is a '585' gold mark for 14k gold inside, along with the maker's mark of 'Larter and Sons'.  Established as Larter, Elcox & Co. in 1865, Larter & Sons was founded in 1905, Newark, NJ. The company had a factory in Newark and their office on Maiden Lane in New York City. They specialized in gentleman's jewelry mainly. With their fine craftsmanship and refined designs, Larter & Sons became one of the most renowned American jewelers in history. 
This ring fits like size 9.25-9.5 currently, and it is easily resizable within moderation. Overall it is in great condition with natural patina in gold.
